Skynyrd`s Grill and Sports Bar in Saint George

Decided to stop in for a bite to eat on the way home from our trip and found this place. Menu looked amazing online and the parking lot with cars and bikes made me think that this must be a really good place. We walked up discussing on the way in that the weather was so nice we could even eat outside. When we got in there was NO staff. No one to tell us where to sit or offer us a drink, menu....nothing. We did see people seated and assumed someone may come up there shortly to greet new customers. So we went up to the bar and waited. No staff in site save the one man trying to make sure the TV was set on the right channel behind the bar. When he was done he sat down and continued a conversation with another patron saying nothing to us. We decided to go elsewhere so we could eat.

Love wing selection. Due to short staffing, it's incredibly slow since reopening from Pandemic. We've been here over hour, still don't have food. Sitting by window I can see our waitress waiting on furthest outside table. Waitresses are trying hard but completely overwhelmed. Two stars for service.

This place amazed me definitely mark as my favorite spot my waitress which was my bartender was amazing super friendly people here pet friendly wonderful wings salad n freshly cut fries omg super good not store bought quality im definitely going back we had an amazing time on Sunday

Dry flavorless over cooked hard wings and soggy onion rings. Seasoning on one side and although I ordered 2 different flavors all you taste in both is salt. Very disappointing and a waste of money. Won’t be going back and would not recommend especially if you don’t like smoking environments.

We saw the reviews while traveling and wanted to try something "different". The food was good. The service, on that day anyway, was below par. We got the slaw when the waitress brought the check. They have a nice outdoor dining area where pets are allowed.

"Sports bar & Grill" From 30 in TVs (lol) to onion rings dripping oil, seafood platter overcooked to cold cheese fries to the men with no gloves and long beards with no net.Definitely not worth 30+ wait on food.Server was nice. Food is terribleThis place is meant for cheap beer only not to enjoy any food. Assuming the ratings comes from locals that dont know any better or maybe they do and they just drink beer, because you can't screw that up.

Great food but SLOW. So, there's not much offered in St. George, so it probably won't matter that they're slow. The burgers are great, and I've been told the seafood is good too.

Great band, great sunday funday. Bikes babes, ice cold beer, and appropriately aged whiskey. Killer DJ every Saturday. Best local and regional acts. An Old School Roadhouse without the booooollshite.

Sat at a table, waitress came within 3 minutes and took drink orders, they came quickly, being the place was very busy. She then took food orders. Food came about 15 minutes later. We ordered burgers, with came out perfect to order. Calamari nice and tender. Homemade fries excellent. Food and service Fantastic. DJ music a little loud, but ok. Very good mix of people's. All races having fun together, the way it should be. Will definitely come back time and time again... Love it !

One of the best dives in South Carolina. The wings were fantastic. Hot with flavor and the heat continued after I had finished them. Watery eyes, runny nose, they were awesome. I will be back.

The worst steak and potato.. Plates must have been recycled from gold mining.

We work here year round. Usually great. Wait staff excellent. Got 2 bad pork chop dinners. Came back the next night just to let them know. Was told tonight's would be at av25% discount . Did not ask was told. Ordered food and the guy tending bar REFUSED TO HONOR DISCOUNT. BAD BUSINESS . ALL OVER HE TOOK BACK THE 25% DISCOUNT AFTER ORDER WAS PLACED. NOT AGAIN FOR US.

Conveniently located off the interstate, everyone is friendly, food is really good for pub style choices & with a good value on prices both drinks & food.

After searching for dog friendly restsurants, for our road trip, we decided to stop by Lynyrd's. The waitress was very friendly, quick to refill our drinks. It was early in the day, so there were only 4 or 5 tables. Fried pickles were a little salty, but they're PICKLES! Guess I should expect that. My BLT was tasty. It came with chips and a pickle spear, which ended up being pickle chips and pretty broken up potato chips. Should have tried the chippers. Anyways, it took at least 45 minutes to get our food. The waitress explained that the 2nd cook was stuck on the interstate and delayed. Probably true, I had just got off that same interstate. So, only 4 stars, today. I think the 1st cook could have hustled up just a bit more.

Walk in here couldn't get any waitress help or anything. Nobody was to be seen. Ask if there was any waitress outside and still no help.

Well worth stopping in. Came over from the Pilot, and was not disappointed. Wings are huge and well cooked. Fries were great too. Pet friendly establishment, and decent prices.

The food here is amazing and the waitress was so helpful and sweet. Also the amount of food is insane so come hungry. Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been too in a long time.

Love the DJ or the live bands. The 4th was surprisingly busier than I thought it would be at 5:30p. The staff is good natured and the locals are always an interesting lot. Good for families during the day.

The only place to be on a Sunday afternoon for Bike Fest! Live local bands, two dollar burgers and one dollar hot dogs and two dollar beers in the tiki bar. Biker and kid friendly. My friend brings her young son and two teenage daughters and their friends. We dance and have a great time! Love this place...especially on warm sunny days with the band on the outside stage.

Delicious wings!! Now that they're non-smoking inside, and we don't have to sit outside to breathe fresh air, we can actually go without worrying about the weather outside.

skynards wont hire enough waitresses for the amount of people. my orders have been wrong on two occasions and at one visit my order wasnt turned in for half an hour. waitress blamed the cook.

What a nice, homey bar and grille! Atmosphere that's inviting and laid back. Menu offerings from wings to ribeye steak. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is fresh and tasty. We took some firecracker hot wings to go, and enjoyed them back at the hotel. Skynyrd's is a great alternative to the chain bistro-bars; come in for some sincere southern hospitality!

Skynyrds was a great plc it had a sandbox in the middle of the bar it's like a cute tiki slash dive bar and to my surprise the drinks were good and strong and the food was very tastey .our waitress was a very sweet young blondes girl my drink was served in a very tall glass for only 5 dollars and they do have happy hr

Waited 20 minutes to get a drink and a menu then waited another hour to get my food. The appetizer came at the same time as the entree. While the crab stuffed mushrooms were hot, I was hard pressed to find any crab and they were rubbery. The bourbon chicken arrived cold and the stuffed baked potato was a do it yourself project meaning the cheese never melted. If you are looking for a place for drinks and talking with friends, this is a good place. Don't come looking for a good meal. I would have done better stopping a few feet short and eating at the waffle house.
